Rules:

1. YABA Tournament rules and regulations will prevail at all times.

    A. No alcoholic beverages permitted in the center during tournament play.

    B. YABA members shall not play any game machines or pool during tournament play.

    C. PROPER ATTIRE IS REQUIRED:  YABA members shall not wear short shorts, halter or tank tops, mini skirts or spandex.  Permitted clothing shall be shirts, capri's skorts, long pants.

****The tournament officials will determine proper attire.  The tournament director(s) will have the right to ask any bowler to change their attire.  If the bowler refuses, he or she will not be allowed to bowl (Disqualified) and the entry feel will be forfeited.***

2. Entry into the Association Tournament is open to Southwest Florida Y.A.B.A. members and travel league members only.

3. This tournament will be conducted on an average basis of (6) divisions, regardless of age.  Coaches will apply for awards in the same manner as league play.

4. All divisions will be handicapped at 90% of 200.

5. Events will be: Team (4) members, Singles, Doubles, All Events Handicap (Optional Scratch).

6. Teams and doubles may be comprised of any combination of boys and girls.

7. All participants will bowl (3) games in each event.

8. Bowlers entering doubles must bowl singles and vice versa.  Singles will be bowled first.  No re-entry will be allowed in doubles and singles.

9. One re-entry in team event will be allowed providing no more than 2 members of the first team bowl on the second team and different team name and team number is used.

10. If a bowler is entered in 2 team events, the first team event shall count toward ALL EVENTS.

11. The entering average shall be the Year Book Average 2002-2003.  If no year book average, the highest league average as of 12 games or more bowled as of January 1, 2004 or 21 games as of the entry date deadline.  If the current average is 10 pins higher that book average, the highest average must be used. Bowlers not having an average as specified above must bowl scratch.

13. Coaches are responsible for certification of average and YABA membership.

14. All entries must be received no later than MIDNIGHT FEBRUARY 8th.  No entry shall be accepted without entry fee and coaches signature.

15. Falsification of any information may result in disqualification of the bowler and/or team.

16. Teams and doubles will be bowled in the order listed on the entry form.  Substitutes may be used and will bowl in the same lineup position.

17. All teams must report at least 45 minutes before assigned squad time.  If any changes and/or substitutions are to be made coaches and/or team captain must report at least one hour before squad time.

18. Any bowler and/or substitutes arriving late will start bowling in frame he/she arrives.  NO SCORE WILL BE RECORDED FOR FRAMES MISSED.

19. There will be a boy and girl division in the singles event and in all events.

20. Bowlers traveling the furthest distance will be given preference of the time and dates.

21. Appeals and protest shall be made in writing to the Tournament Director within 24 hours after the error or infraction occurred.

22. A copy of the Final Standing Sheet will be mailed to all centers within 2 weeks after the close of the tournament.

23. OFFICIAL SCORERS will record scores on official recap sheets.

24. Awards will be given one for every 8 entries in each division for TEAM, DOUBLES AND SINGLES.  Awards for ALL EVENTS, (BOTH SCRATCH AND HANDICAP) will only be given to members that pay the optional fee.  Award fees returned 100%.
